How We Work
Commission Davies & Foster to make a truly bespoke piece of furniture
DESIGN
We start the process by arranging an appointment which can either be at our workshop, or in your home. During this we discuss ideas, materials and finishes, as well as where the furniture will eventually go. This is brainstorming at its best.
Following this, we will then provide you with a quotation for the commissioned piece. Upon acceptance, we will then provide you with fully detailed drawings so you can visualise your new piece of furniture. Once the design has been finalised and approved, we then start the process of making.
MAKE
You are welcome to come an visit us to see your new piece of furniture being made.
All our furniture is made at our workshop in Chester, by a small dedicated team of craftsmen, ensuring quality and attention to detail is always met. We use both traditional hand tool techniques, as well as modern woodwork machinery to bring your furniture to life
