Door Shaving
New carpet and suddenly the door won't close? We'll remove the door, trim it neatly to give the correct clearance and rehang it so everything works as it should.

Bathroom Lock Fitting
We can add a bathroom privacy lock to an existing door, neatly mortising the lock and fitting the thumbturn and keep for a professional finish.

Door Adjustments
Doors can drop, stick, scrape and stop closing properly over time. We'll assess the problem and make the necessary adjustments to get them opening and closing properly again.

Door Hanging
New internal doors professionally fitted to existing frames, carefully trimmed and adjusted for the correct gaps, with hinges, latches and handles fitted where required. We don’t rush doors. Hinges are fitted flush and tight, old hinge recesses filled and sanded where required, and each door is carefully adjusted for smooth, binding-free operation. It’s the little details that make the difference.

Hardwood & Softwood Gates
From fitting a customer-supplied gate to making something completely bespoke, we can supply and install single and double timber gates to suit your opening. Our bespoke gates are handmade in our Chester workshop using solid timber and traditional joinery for a strong, long-lasting finish. Bespoke made-to-measure gates are individually quoted.

Workshop Services - Drop-In
Our fully equipped workshop means we can do considerably more than turn up with a toolbox. From cutting a piece of MDF to reproducing a moulding you simply can’t buy anymore, sometimes you just need the right machinery. Our drop-in workshop service includes cutting, planing, timber machining, edgebanding and custom mouldings. We can also supply MDF, decorative and veneered boards, Finsa laminated boards and a wide range of hardwoods, cut and machined to your requirements.

MDF and other suitable sheet materials accurately cut to your required dimensions. £25 per 15 minutes workshop time You’d be surprised how much sheet material we can cut in 15 minutes!

Edgebanding

Can’t find a moulding to match the existing one? We can reproduce timber mouldings and profiles from an existing sample, or manufacture a new profile to your requirements. Timber is priced separately.
